Summer’s here and it’s going to get even hotter! Iced tea is always deliciously refreshing and here’s our secret recipe for giving it a spicy twist.
My T Chai make Organic Chai teas using a unique blend of organic aromatic spices (cinnamon bark, clove bud, ginger root, black pepper seed, cardamom seed)blended with African and Indian organic teas that will nourish the body, mind and spirit.
All their teas are free from additives and synthetic compounds – just natural pure organic goodness.
So, to make 2.25 litres of a caffeine-free gently spiced iced tea-blend, here’s what to do:
- Place 8 My T Chai Organic Rooibos Chai teabags in a pot and cover with 1.5 litres boiling water. Let it steep for 5-10 minutes, or better yet wait for it to cool to room temp
- Remove teabags and add 750ml red grape juice and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- To Serve, pour into a glass with lots of ice and garnish with a slice of orange, Enjoy!
