Patrick O’Shea is the man behind this stunning new infused honey range. Hi Honey Infusions began when Patrick became interested in the health benefits of honey infused with cinnamon and ginger. He began to experiment with making his own honey infusions trying out different flavours as he went along. And so Hi Honey Infusions was created.
Wanting the range to be pure and healthy, Patrick made the commitment to use honey only from SA bee farmers and to infuse the honey with only certified organic ingredients.
How Hi Honey Infusions are Made
Hi Honey Infusions are produced in a HACCP certified facility in Montagu, the mountain valley village at the foothills of the Langeberg mountain range and gateway to the Little Karoo in the Western Cape.
Honey infusions gives you the convenience of two of nature’s healthy living ingredients. There is no heat process applied in the production of the honey. A centrifugal process (spinning) is used to extract the honey from the comb and the honey may therefore be regarded as 100% raw.
This natural honey is then slowly infused with organics at a low temperature (which does not exceed 35 degrees Celsius) thereby retaining all the nutritional goodness of both honey and the infused ingredient.
