With its bold tangy taste, containing living culture strands, Zooka Health Co’s kombucha is naturally carbonated, bursting with natural amino acids, enzymes and antioxidants. And…it’s for real!
It’s slow brewed, in small batches creating an authentic, best tasting Kombucha that’s bottled in glass, not plastic.
It’s 100% raw, vegan, non-GMO, gluten free with absolutely no artificial flavours or additives.
The Process
Zooka Kombucha is brewed using authentic Kombucha brewing principles.
Kombucha tea is made using a mother culture or scoby (Symbiotic Colony of bacteria and yeast) The Kombucha culture is added to a sweet tea brew. This brew is then carefully fermented under specific conditions for up to two weeks.
The kombucha is then bottled, raw and unfiltered, and allowed to naturally carbonate in the bottles (just the way nature intended). Once conditioning is complete the bottles are moved to the fridge where they will stay until they are consumed.
Beneficial Properties
Because kombucha contains a living culture, it has excellent probiotic properties benefiting digestion, the immune system and overall gut health. It also contains the following beneficial acids:
- Acetic acid, lactic, gluconic, oxalic acids
- Glucosamine
- Amino Acids
- Enzymes

Kombucha must always be refrigerated and has a shelf life of between 10-12months kept at 4’C.
